Zoological garden
The smallest and youngest zoological garden in Slovakia is situated in the area of 8 hectares in the beautiful area of Madaras park. It houses about 530 animals of 130 species. Most of them are entered in the Red book of endangered species. Visitors can see, for example, all big cats - an African lion, an Ussurian Tiger, or a Puma concolor.
Visiting the ZOO is enlivened by playgrounds. Various attractions and playgrounds delight children in the summer, such as horse riding. In the ZOO, there is also an arboretum with more than 30 plant species. The complex includes an AQUATERRA Pavilion with aquarium and terrarium animals, the ZOO shop, refreshment stands and patisserie.
